Beer

I miss my laptop

It's been a month since my laptop have problems with software and I can't use it. I am using an Acer laptop. I decided to go to Alabang Festival Mall and have my laptop diagnose for the real cause of the problem and hoping to get a resolution and have it fixed.

At around 3pm I arrived at the mall. Ride with the escalator and walk. And then, boom! I saw this store (i forgot the store name). They specialize in upgrading and fixing laptop and desktops. So I asked one of the store negotiator and explain to her the problem I am experiencing with my laptop.

The windows keeps on restarting and the power suddenly turns off after a while. The lady told me that my problem would be on the operating system (OS) and they want me to buy a license windows. I asked the sales lady if there would be no other way other than buying a license windows since I know that licensed windows cost a lot... and I am not willing to buy that. Not that I do not have money to buy it but i find it impractical to buy a licensed windows when I can buy a pirated version (hehehe!). So what I did, I went back home and buy a pirated version of Windows XP. I tried reformatting the laptop again. I am very nervous that my laptop will suddenly turn off again once i inserted the cd. To my surprise, it didn't. Hmmm... I guess the sales lady is correct. It does only need reformatting of OS... except that it does not need a licensed windows.. Haha! thanks to her, I got my laptop fixed.

My laptop is doing ok now except that I can no longer retrieve my old files... and that's a BIG Crap!!

Now, I will definitely take care of my laptop again. I really miss using it.

To sum it up,

One Pirated Windows XP + reformat + hours of waiting = Fixed Laptop!

I am so happy! Yey! :)

Julia Sheer

I was browsing and looking for talented people on the popular site Youtube when I came across a video by Taylor Swift. I am not a fan of Taylor Swift (haha!). But when I started to listen to Julia's cover, I begin to appreciate Taylor Swift's song. Now, I am getting a daily dose of Julia Sheer every time I logged to youtube. I even downloaded some of her cover and original songs. She is not popular like Miley Cyrus or Taylor Swift. But I know she will be someday. Here's one of her cover videos.

Anawangin Getaway

Anawangin is a cove in the town of San Antonio in Zambales. It is a beach that has an off-white sand and an evergreen forest cover near the shore (you’ll rarely see a coconut tree in Anawangin). Behind the forest is a small stream that flows out to the sea (During summer this stream dries up into a shallow pond). There are also two beach cliffs bounding the beach, which you can hike up and enjoy the view.

Going to Anawangin will approximately take 6 hours. From Manila, you can drive or take a bus to San Antonio, Zambales. Upon arriving at San Antonio you can hire a boat at Pundaquit that will take you to Anawangin. It is advisable to leave Manila at night so it wouldn’t be hot while traveling.

Last April 15 of this year, we have our so called "Reunion" of my co-workers. They were my friends when we started working at this company. We were excited for several thinigs. One, we'll meet again after so many years of not seeing each other. Two, we'll visit a very beautiful creation of nature. And three, we were also excited to know the danger of the cove.

Yes, it was rumored that the place was really dangerous. There were facts that certain group of people lost their lives during their vacation at the Anawangin. We were very curious why.

We were accompanied by Butch and Derek, our very own tourist guide! (thanks to pinoy caravan). Thanks to them, they were able to explain to us why there were several incidents and accidents happened on the island cove.

It was really a very tiring 3hour road trip from Manila to Zambales (not to mention that it's summer and its so freaking hot!). But, once you  stepped your feet on the beach, its worth the long trip. Parang hirap muna bago saya. hehe! I was really amazed of the beauty of the island. White sand. Green trees.

Me and my friends really maximized the time and enjoyed the offerings of the island. From swimming to trekking.

Camping. This is also one of the best things you'll do once you get there. It's purely camping. No electricity, No water supply (except for the tap water, which is undrinkable). No toilets! haha!

The vacation will not be complete without the laugh trip. Kwentuhan to the max when the night hits the beach. Haha! Pero those were the moments that we really missed alot. Not only that you get to know other people but also have bonding with them. Who is a DJ of a radio station. Right after the trip i tried listening to the DJ, and kulit lang tlga.

This would be one of the best way to relax, unwind and chill. I am looking forward visiting the place again when i have the time.

Love the place. Love the time. Love the memories.

Just a thought

“Letting go doesn’t mean giving up… it means moving on. It is one of the hardest things a person can do. Starting at birth, we grasp on to anything we can get our hands on, and hold on as if we will cease to exist when we let go. We feel that letting go is giving up, quitting, and that as we all know is cowardly. But as we grow older we are forced to change our way of thinking. We are forced to realize that letting go means accepting things that cannot be. It means maturing and moving on, no matter how hard you have to fight yourself to do so.”
