Uno, Dos, Tres, SINGKO

People's favorite number back in college days is 1 while the least is 5. Simply because 1 or uno stands for a perfect grade and 5 or singko means you failed the subject. But you know what, I don't believe in these numbers nor in grades. Yes, I DON'T BELIEVE IN GRADES.

Our parents were the ones who pressured us that everytime we present them our classcard, they expect high grades that falls either on 1, 1.5, 2, 2.25 and so on. But giving them tres, kwatro or singko will surely followed by endless sermon. Why? Because parents believe that these grades reflects how you fair in your subject... how much you have learned from your university... how good or excellent you are in your comprehension. But I beg to disagree. These numbers do not reflect who am I as a student.

FEAR

I am browsing thru several pages of a magazine when I come across a brand name "No Fear." But this is not to promote their products or whatsoever. :) I get focused on the word FEAR and thought how and why we feel afraid sometimes. Is this feeling a prerequisite of something? Is this feeling created for something we people need to realize? These are few questions I will try to answer.

Rapid heartbeats, too much sweating... 

 On my opinion, fear lives on the concept of not knowing something AND also when we know too much of a thing. We often feel fear when we less know a thing that we need to do or worse not even knowing at all. Having no idea of what will happen next creates fear.

Think about death. Most of us fear death and I am one of it. The simple reason why is because I do not know what will happen to me after life. Who knows? To mitigate this fear, society created beliefs and norms which will help people learn what is death. In turn, accept death as a form and part of man's life cycle. Some believe in reincarnation, some believe in fruitful life after death, some believe that we will either go to hell or heaven depending on how He will weigh the life that you have on earth, and such. But despite this, man still fear death.

Infinity

"It is an unendless ___________."

(I give my readers the freedom to supply any words you can think about and fits on the blank space provided.) 

We first saw the symbol of infinity when we were on high school, probably during the second year. And our teacher thought us that infinity stands for anything that is boundless. In terms of numbers, it's something that multiplies with no ending (which i think somehow related to exponentials. gotta review my math 101 :D). 

As I grow older (but still looks young), I learned that people also relates infinity to something  other than science or mathematics. We often see and hear the words like endless, never ending and walang hanggan... endless love, hanggang sa dulo ng walang hanggan, and so on. But are there really such things as infinite that are not pertaining to numbers and science? A simple question that I always ponder about. Do you believe that there are such things as endless or limitless?

LATE > never

This is a very popular saying passed through generations. Simple but very meaningful.  Mostly applicable sa lahat ng bagay. What if iapply ko ang concept ng love since ito naman ang tema ko sa buwan ng Agosto? whatchathink? 

Nangyari na ba sayo na may nagawa kang maling bagay na gustong gusto mong ayusin pero parang tingin mo ay huli na ang lahat para sayo? Parang wala ka ng magagawa at natuldukan na ang lahat? Isang pakiramdam na pilit mong sinasaksak sa utak mo ngunit ayaw tanggapin ng puso mo. Sabi kasi ng puso mo - Hindi pa tapos ang lahat. Hangga’t humihinga ka at tama ang nararamdaman mo, may lugar pa para kumilos ka. Sabi nga never surrender ’til its over. Pero nadefine ba nila kung kelan mo masasabing over na? Hindi ba't ikaw lang din makakapagsabi kung kelan nga ba tapos na ang lahat. So kung sayo, walang katapusan, edi walang katapusan din ang pakikipaglaban mo sa feelings mo. Gudlak.. hehe!

Adore

Simple yet very strong word. On my years of living, I only hear this word a couple of times. But why do we seldom here this word? Instead, we often here and use words like Crush, Like or even Love. Isn't adore synonymous to these words? With this curiosity, I looked at the dictionary and search for the meaning of this word. The book says...

Adore: (1) To worship as a God (2) To regard with deep, often rupturous love (3) To like very much.

Destiny.

We always hear the word destiny or destined. How do people define destiny would be somewhat similar to how most of the people think of it. Two people destined with each other means they will be together at the end "no matter what they do and how people do to separate them." I literally wanted to quote that as it actually defines what destiny is as what other people think of it. But is there really a destiny or is this just another kids fantasy stories?

Sorry to contradict or to disappoint everyone but I and how I view life in general really don't believe that there is destiny. We have the brains to think and common sense to decide on what we really want out of something or out of life. I do not let destiny or fate control me. I hold my own life and I am the only one who can dictate the kind of life that I wanted. This is the only freedom that all of us are blessed to have with.

EMOtional

Marahil narinig mo na ang salitang EMO. Ung in na in na salita ngaun kung saan madalas ay natatawa ka pag naririnig mo. Bakit? Kasi nirerelate mo cia sa mga taong masyadong madamdamin ang buhay. Ung mga taong kaya daw magpakamatay dahil sa sobrang kalungkutan. Well, sila nga ba tlga un?

Naniniwala ako na ang pagiging EMO ay dinadaanan lahat ng tao. Oo, maniwala ka! Mahirap sigurong tanggapin o malamang nagrereact ka na ngaun kasi feeling mo hindi ka naging EMO kahit minsan. Lahat ng tao may problema. Abnormal ka nga daw kung wala kang poblema. Pero kung EMO ka, madalas na ang problema mo ay problema sa puso, tama? Sino bang hindi nagkaproblema sa love o pagibig? Ikaw? Owss! kahit balibaligtarin natin ang mundo, alam ko nagkaproblema ka na sa pagibig! Hahaha! 

PAG-IBIG [hakbang]

Sa bawat pahina ng buhay mayroon mga pangyayaring hindi mo inakalang tatatak ng lubos sa iyong pagkatao. Madalas ay ito ang nagiging sanhi ng iyong kasiyahan, pagkabigo, kalungkutan, pagkaaliw, pagkalubog at pagpaparaya. Isa itong bagay na nakakahilong ieksplika at lubos na pag-aralan. Marahil dahil sa hindi naman ito isang kaganapan sa buhay na parehas sa ibang tao. Magkakaiba ang pananaw, pakiramdam, pagtanggap at pagkasuya natin sa konseptong ito.

Malamang ay tanda mo pa nung nasa elementary ka ang unang beses mong naranasan ang kakaibang pakiramdam na ubod na nagpasaya sa iyo. Na sa tuwing dadaan ang “crush” mo at mapapatingin o titig sayo ay para ka bang nasa alapaap at sinusuray-suray ng mga ulap. Ito na marahil ang unang kilig at unang hakbang ng kamulatan mo sa konsepto ng puso.

Bitter si kuya

"Masakit mawalan ng minamahal pagkatapos ng lahat ng oras ng pinagsamahan at ang sabay niyong pagbuo ng mga pangarap at plano sa buhay.... Ngunit hindi ba't mas masakit malaman na ipinagpalit ka sa PANGIT?!! Asan na ang taste mo ate??"

Alam kong move on ka na sa dati mong karelasyon, boypren man ito o girlpren. Ngunit aminin mo na minsan ay napapasilip ka pa rin sa fesbuk wall ng ex mo (aminin mo na, mamatay na nagsisinungaling!) sa kadahilanang curious ka sa anong klaseng buhay na ba meron siya after ng break-up niyo. Ninanais mo pa na makipagunahan sa kanya na makahanap kagad ng iba para lang maipakita na naka-move-on ka na (as if s/he cares?!). Magugulat ka na lang isang araw na punong puno ng puso ang paligid ng FB wall niya.. Love is in the air ika nga nila. Ouch! nasaktan ka dahil alam mo sa sarli mo na meron ka pa ding nararamdaman kahit konti... Pero mas naging usisero ka sa kung sino na ba ang karelasyon ng dati mong kasintahan!

Shetix

Hala at ako'y umuwi na namang tipsy. Pero wag ka mag-alala ang post na ito ay hindi tungkol sa paglalasing ko. :))

Nasa opis pa ko ng may magtext sakin at nagyayaya na uminom.. Syempre friday mode na naman at weekend na, sabi ko "ok, sunod na lang ako kasi shift ko pa.." Fast forward ng konti...3am after shift, derecho ako dun sa paborito naming tambayan... mga 5-minute walk lang naman kaya hindi hassle. Inabutan ko dun ang sandamakmak na opismates ko.. Hi jan, Hello dun.. papatagayin ka pa.. "sabi ko teka lang, chill lang tayo" Hinahanap ko ung table ng frend kong nagyaya sakin.. ayun at anjan lang pala sila.

Who wants change?

The only thing that never change is the word CHANGE.

As we live our lives, everyday we feel change. From the simplest change of things around us... the weather, people we meet, urgent matters, sudden unexpected events and the like. But these were mere change that we seldom focus on. Some people may not even consider these as change but an instance and normal events occurring in our life. So when can we say that a change is a valid change and will really get our attention? I should say these  are the "major changes" in our life... the changes that could deliberately affect your norms, your ideals, your habits, your life and your philosophy.. and sometimes even your beliefs. I also consider facing challenges as part of the change.

Getting out of the comfort zone. I simply put the definition of change as going out of your comfort zone. That is the reason why most of the people don't want change. But for me, change is something we can't prevent and we should learn to accept. One word that is connected with change is RISK. And this may also be the next reason why change is something we don't entertain.

Coincidence

"You can't describe great cosmic significance to

 These are the last words spoken by the narrator under the very inspiring and very "true" movie 500 Days of Summer. This is one of the best movie I have ever watched in my entire life. Next to "My Sassy Girl."Contrary to what other people think, the story is NOT a love story.

Life. That is where the plot of story revolves. Summer reflects that life is life. While Tom's character describes a person that believes in destiny.

Whatever we do, decisions that we made, were part of the coincidence... These coincidences could be a significant factor in your future. Instances that are currently happening in one's life were not meant to happen. They were just "instances." And it's our job to interpret things and use that to improve your own life... or mess your own life... whatever you like. 

Aliens or time travelers?

Do you believe in aliens? These were creatures (sorry for the word, can't find anything that fits more) whom we know to have super powers and observe us from above with their Unidentified flying objects (UFO - disc shaped planes). They were usually described as more advanced creatures than human, who has the most advanced technology far from the technology we have right now.

Many reports claim a UFO sightings here in our planet and some really believed that humans were not the only creatures living in the galaxy. But is there really an alien and will the time come that the fictional  movie Alien Invation will really happen to the planet Earth?

I believe and at the same time do not believe that there are aliens. I believe that this creatures exist. But i think that those creatures riding with the UFOs were also human.. like us.

Yes. I believe that they are time travelers. You may think that I am crazy but think about it, they have the most advance technology and making a time machine would not be impossible. They are people who wanted to change something, some events in the past (which is our present) to correct the future. I do not believe on how movies physically describe them. They are also people.

I may be wrong. But this is just my opinion, belief and perspective. 

Aliens = Time travelers. Possible.
